Incredible Series of Medieval X-Men Illustrations by Nate Hallinan

Freelance artist Nate Hallinan has created The Order of X, an awesome illustration series that imagines how members of the X-Men team would look during the middle ages. Prints of each character are available to purchase online from INPRNT.

The Order of X is a group of ‘gifted’ individuals in the service of Lord Charles Xavier. The Order provides sanctuary and protection to individuals outcast by society due to their innate abnormalities. These people are often misidentified as monsters, demons, warlocks and witches. Only those who are accepting of the ‘gifted’ are welcome in the realm of Lord Xavier.

Artist Kode Subject has created “War Of Thrones,” an excellent illustrated mashup of Star Wars and Game of Thrones. Now that’s an Iron Throne fit for a Jedi killing Sith Lord. I’m sure that Hodor agree. “Hodor!”

Star Wars Cereal TIE Fighter Made Using 2 Crispix, 2 Cheerios & Frosting
Artist Brock Davis has created a Star Wars ”Cereal TIE Fighter" using 2 Crispix for the hexagonal wings, 2 Cheerios for the hull, and then "a tiny bit of frosting to hold it together.” I’m very impressed and hungry for some breakfast.

Bert & Ernie Reimagined as Ruthless Criminals by Dan LuVisi
Sesame Street characters Bert and Ernie have their lives turned upside down in California-based digital concept artist Dan LuVisi's new pop culture illustration titled, “My Brother’s Keeper.” It’s looks like a rad mixture of Breaking Bad and Taxi Driver. “Ernie, it’s time to cook!”

“Well here’s the story. I imagined Bert as a Marine who left his little brother behind for the Vietnam war. Over the years, Ernie started to turn into a junkie without his brother’s guidance, falling into the wrong crowd and dealing/using with the wrong people—thus making some very bad mistakes.Until Bert returned, leaving one war, only to fight another for his brother. Oh man, Ernie. What a psycho.”
